Kodium

The workbench of the open-source VS Code (Code - OSS), running on the device itself on the engine of the Surfari browser: explorer, editor tabs, syntax highlighting, search in files, the command palette, settings and keybindings, themes, the Outline and Timeline views, a terminal and extensions from Open VSX. Text is selected as on iOS, with the loupe, the handles and the system clipboard. An early version, made for a 512 MB iPad 2.

• Syntax highlighting for 31 languages; snippets, language configurations and Emmet from VS Code's built-in extensions
• JavaScript: problems, outline, Go to Definition, Find All References, Rename Symbol, Format Document
• Search in files, the command palette, settings, keybindings, themes, Outline and Timeline with local history
• A terminal (xterm.js) on the iPad's own shells with the Kodium Shell package
• Touch: long press for the loupe, double tap selects a word, selection handles and the Cut/Copy/Paste callout, the system clipboard both ways
• A warm-up behind the splash, so the first actions are quick on an iPad 2
• English and Czech
