Twitcher

A universal Twitch client for iPhone and iPad in the glossy look of iOS 6. Watching needs no account; log in with a short code to see the channels you follow and to write in the chat. Twitch's servers only speak today's TLS, so the app carries its own TLS stack and hands the video to the system player through a tiny local proxy. Nothing leaves the device but the requests to Twitch and the emote services.

• Live channels by category and language, categories, search for channels and categories
• Player with quality choice up to what the device decodes, full screen, chat beside or under the video, sound in the background, lock-screen controls
• Chat with badges, Twitch, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ and 7TV emotes (animated too), mentions, subscriptions and raids, moderation
• Channel pages: past broadcasts, highlights, clips by period, favourites kept on the device
• Videos with seeking, resume where you left off and the chat replay in time with the video
• Optional login with a device code: followed channels, sending chat messages, your own emotes
• Light and dark theme, English and Czech

• Tested on an iPad 2 with iOS 6.1.3; the iPhone layout has not been tried on a real iPhone yet
• Do not keep the IPA from GitHub and this package installed at the same time

• Links in the chat, on the channel page and in titles are tappable; Twitch links open in Twitcher, links to YouTube, Kick and TikTok in the sister apps when they are installed
• On iOS 6 other links offer Safari or Surfari; newer iOS opens Safari at once
• The iOS 6 package is offered on iOS 6.x only (64-bit devices with iOS 15 and newer use the arm64 package)
